On Sunday, July 23, the 36th Aalen City Run will take place, expecting around 1,000 runners of all ages. Mayor Frederick Brütting will take on the patronage and will be at the starting line himself, while Mayor Bernd Schwarzendorfer will fire the starting shot. The City Run offers various competitions for all age groups on a flat and fast approximately one-kilometer loop through Aalen's city center, allowing for many personal best times. The start and finish are located at Sparkassenplatz, where the award ceremonies and supporting program will also take place.
